🧬 Mrs. Wilson's 8th Grade Science class took on an exciting engineering challenge today! Using their knowledge of cell organelles, students identified specific types of cells to fit unique scenarios and built models of them. From 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 protecting leaves to 𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 delivering oxygen to a competitive swimmer, these young scientists combined creativity with biology to bring their cells to life! January is School Board Recognition Month! The 2025 theme, "Leadership for Tomorrow's Texas", emphasizes the critical role school board members play in shaping the future of our state. School Board service is a volunteer position with no salary. Trustees are required to complete annual mandated training in addition to countless hours dedicated to campus visits, events and meetings.
