The skit delivered an important message about making healthy choices and avoiding the dangers of vaping โ all while engaging younger students with creativity, humor, and heart. Weโre so proud of these student leaders for setting a positive example and promoting a drug-free lifestyle!

She was nominated by her teacher, who says Elena "has shown me what strength of character and strong, quiet leadership look like. She is the sweetest girl who never gives up, especially when itโs difficult. I have never seen someone work as hard as she does to be the best student musician in our class - and we've only been playing our instruments for 2 weeks now! Besides being a great student, Elena also demonstrates strong leadership qualities - not by being the loudest or most vocal student, but rather through her actions. She comes prepared to class, listens when she doesnโt understand, and helps others when possible. Elena is a prime example that great leaders are those who help and encourage others around them to also be the best versions of themselves they can be. "
