🏀 𝙄𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙐𝙥𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙚: The 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 at the Navasota vs. Caldwell basketball game on 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟒 is now open to boys and girls in 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝟱-𝟴 only. Here’s how it works: ➡️ 5th-8th graders, grab your ticket at the entrance for a chance to be drawn at halftime of the Varsity Boys game. ➡️ One Caldwell student and one Navasota student will compete in a free throw showdown for a $𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗴𝗶𝗳𝘁 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱! Don’t miss out on the fun! 🏀🙌

❄️ 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐈𝐒𝐃 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞: 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟐 ❄️ Due to the possibility of lingering icy road conditions in certain areas, all Caldwell ISD schools will be closed on Wednesday, January 22nd. This decision is made with the safety of our students, staff, and families in mind. Classes will resume on Thursday, January 23rd, following our regular schedule. 🧬 Mrs. Wilson's 8th Grade Science class took on an exciting engineering challenge today! Using their knowledge of cell organelles, students identified specific types of cells to fit unique scenarios and built models of them. From 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 protecting leaves to 𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 delivering oxygen to a competitive swimmer, these young scientists combined creativity with biology to bring their cells to life! January is School Board Recognition Month! The 2025 theme, "Leadership for Tomorrow's Texas", emphasizes the critical role school board members play in shaping the future of our state. School Board service is a volunteer position with no salary. Trustees are required to complete annual mandated training in addition to countless hours dedicated to campus visits, events and meetings. 🌟 𝑺𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆 𝑴𝒆𝒆𝒕𝒔 𝑯𝒐𝒍𝒊𝒅𝒂𝒚 𝑪𝒉𝒆𝒆𝒓!🎄✨ These 8th graders went back to their "elementary school days" and got hands-on with a festive science experiment! They crafted homemade ornaments for their Christmas tree while learning about solubility and mixtures. With just hot water, borax, and some creative flair, they made crystals grow on pipe cleaners—how cool is that?! 🧪 #CaldwellProud #CaldwellISD
