CJH lady hornet softball kicked off the season last night with a 9-3 win against Lexington, and had FULL stands. They only had TWO days of practice leading up to the game!

CJH is gearing up for 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲!

This day of service sends our 7th & 8th grade students into the community to give back through projects that make a difference.

With over 20 years of experience, she is seasoned, wise, and masterful in her craft, yet continues to show up each day with energy, purpose, and unwavering commitment. As a Special Education teacher, she meets every child with patience, compassion, and high expectations, creating a classroom where students feel safe, capable, and truly believed in. She sees potential where others may see struggle and celebrates every success, big or small. Ms. Anderson also builds strong partnerships with families, empowering and supporting them while fostering a true “one team” mindset. She leads by example, uplifts those around her, and represents the very best of Caldwell Elementary."

This event will bring local businesses and CHS students together for on-site interviews and potential job opportunities. Students include 16+ looking for summer or after-school work, upcoming seniors in our career prep program, and graduating seniors ready for full-time employment.

📢 📣 Announcing another APRIL Student of the Month... 𝗛𝗔𝗬𝗗𝗘𝗡 𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗟! 📢 📣
He was nominated by his teacher, who says that Hayden is "the best example of a true servant leader that I have taught in my entire career. He is always one of the first students to show up for morning rehearsals, helps load the truck for every trip, and most importantly, he is ALWAYS there to help a student in his section or any section with music, school work, or to just be a friend when some kids need it the most. He is one of the finest examples of why our band program has grown and I can’t imagine this journey without him."
